Chandler Condon is a Denver-based interdisciplinary artist and printmaker whose work serves as a phantasmagorical bridge between the rugged landscapes of the American West and the whimsical, intricate realms of the subconscious. Celebrated for her vibrant chromatic systems and narrative-rich compositions, Condon weaves together flora, fauna, and mystical symbolism to create visual environments that are simultaneously familiar and otherworldly. Originally from Des Moines, Iowa, Condon’s artistic foundation was laid in her grandmother’s studio, where she learned to approach creation with playfulness and trust. Although her academic journey began at Colorado State University with a degree in Natural Resources and Sustainability, her time in the nonprofit sector and the creative activism of organizations like Conscious Alliance reawakened her artistic drive. During the 2020 pandemic, she fully committed to her craft, earning a B.F.A. in Illustrative Design from the Rocky Mountain College of Art + Design. Her background in social and environmental ecology deeply informs her aesthetic, grounding her surrealism in a commitment to stewardship and the belief that nature is a sacred, communal space.

Since transitioning to a full-time practice, Condon has rapidly established herself as a dynamic force within the contemporary art and live music communities. Her technical process is a meditative ritual; she begins every piece with tactile pencil sketches before translating them into layered, color-separated masterpieces that echo the improvisational flow of the jam band culture she inhabits. This fusion of traditional craftsmanship and contemporary method is further elevated by her exploration of the Divine Feminine, utilizing sinuous forms to honor a nurturing yet powerful energy that mirrors the earth’s regenerative cycles. Her distinct visual language has led to high-profile collaborations with brands such as Blazy Susan and Blackstrap, as well as creative projects for storied venues like Cervantes Masterpiece.
