Born and raised in Morgantown, Pennsylvania, Trevy’s artistic foundation was laid in his father’s tattoo shop. Immersed in the culture of tattooing from a young age, he began apprenticing in his teens, eventually spending five years as a professional tattoo artist. This background in permanent linework heavily informs his current process; he approaches a glass sculpture or a painting with the same "storytelling demeanor" used on skin. After studying art in Philadelphia and a stint in California, Trevy pivoted to glass in 2015 at the Krushmore studio, where he mastered the dremel under the mentorship of Rye Glass.
